Revisit January to August 2021
Origionally 2nd year project October to December 2019
Brief: design an intervention in the Hardwick
Hall grounds, Derbyshire, England, to engage
the general public visiting the national trust site.
For this project I decided on creating a walkway to allow visitors to have a closer look at the decorative plaster work and the views surrounding the gorunds.
For an undisturbed view and to mimic the trees planted on the site I designed a staircase with copper plating, which will react to the weather and go green over time.
Visitors could have a birds eye view of the kitchen area from looking through the net they can walk on.
For a fun way to the ground, there would be an option to go on the slide.
